Insurance & Superbills
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill (detailed receipt) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Sliding Scale
I reserve a small number of reduced-fee appointments for clients experiencing significant financial hardship. Because these spaces are limited, they may not always be available.
Questions to ask your insurance provider:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Have I met my deductible?
What percentage of psychotherapy services do you reimburse?
Is there a limit to the number of therapy sessions covered?
Do I need prior authorization?
Why Weekly Therapy?
I believe therapy works best when there's enough consistency for the work to build from one week to the next. That's why I generally recommend beginning with weekly sessions. Regular meetings help maintain momentum, allowing us to stay connected to your goals, notice patterns as they emerge, and deepen the work over time.
Consistency also supports your nervous system. Knowing that you have a dedicated time and space each week can create a sense of safety, predictability, and stability—conditions that help the brain and body feel supported enough to explore, process, and heal.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and relational therapy, where the therapeutic relationship itself becomes an important part of the healing process. A consistent meeting time provides a reliable foundation that allows trust to develop and deeper work to unfold over time.
Healing often happens not in isolated breakthroughs, but through the repeated experience of showing up, being met with care, and discovering that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
As therapy progresses and your goals evolve, we can always revisit the frequency of sessions together.
On occasion I do longer, intensive sessions.
